🕒 Shift: Days | 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for a General Inpatient (GIP) Hospice travel assignment in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with strong hospice and case management experience who is dedicated to providing exceptional end-of-life care.

Requirements:
- Active New Jersey RN License (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of Home Hospice RN experience
- Experience with EMR documentation
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Valid New Jersey Driver's License
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Diploma in Nursing with an active RN license
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and case management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Hospice RN experience
- Previous ICU experience
- Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, medication management, and interdisciplinary care planning
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized hospice care plans.
- Manage a hospice caseload while coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide compassionate patient and family education and support.
- Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation.
- Reconcile medications and ensure safe medication administration.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with hospice standards, regulations, and agency policies.
