Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, while meeting department objectives. Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
Requirements
This position is for an EPIC conversion. Candidates must have EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years and have worked as an employee of an organization / successfully completed a contract. Each work history entry must list the charting system used. If multiple EMR systems are listed on one job, dates must be provided to clarify when each system was used. No RTO is allowed. The listed start date is firm.
Day Shift/AUTO OFFER 40 hours per week/Backfill for EPIC must have experience in EPIC and Cerner/Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist
must have strong clinical skills in Acute Inpatient Hospital Setting and Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation
Neuro/ICU experience
Float between both inpatient and acute rehab daily
Must be available weekends (potentially all weekend shifts)
At least two years experience preferred in hospital/acute rehab settings (we do not have capacity to train/mentor)
Education and Work Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD): Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2007; or foreign equivalent.
- Two years' occupational therapy experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
Facility Specific License/Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required
