Per Diem - 2x12/week; $700/shift
 

Assignment Information: DHS/LA County Los Angeles General Medical Center is currently in need of highly skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) with a minimum of one (1) year of recent Emergency Room experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population. RNs will provide emergency care in a high-volume, fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population with trauma activations, medical emergencies, cardiac events, stroke alerts, psychiatric crises, and complex multi-system conditions across the full spectrum of acuity, from minor illness to critical resuscitation. RNs will provide rapid triage, comprehensive 

patient assessment, stabilization, trauma and medical resuscitation, and the simultaneous management of multiple high-acuity patients while demonstrating sound clinical judgment, advanced critical care skills, effective prioritization, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver timely, high-quality, life-saving patient care.

Required certifications include active RN license, AHA BLS, NIHSS Certification, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and completion of the LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to the assignment start date.
