Job Details
The Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care for patients with complex cardiac conditions within a Cardiovascular Unit (CVU). The RN utilizes clinical judgment to assess, diagnose, and manage patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. This role provides care for patients undergoing advanced cardiovascular procedures, post-operative cardiac surgery recovery, congestive heart failure management, electrophysiology studies, and other specialized cardiac interventions.

The RN will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and support positive outcomes in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment. The position requires flexibility to float to similar units as needed.

Job Requirements

• 1+ year of ICU experience required (floating experience does not count)
• EKG experience required
• Must be willing to float to similar units as needed
• Preferred experience with Neuro, CVICU, and Trauma patients
• Preferred experience managing ventilated patients
• Preferred experience with CRRT and balloon pumps
• Active Michigan RN license required at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
