Unit Name: Behavior Health Unit

Building: Main Hospital

General Information

Unit Specifics:

·        Number of Beds : 22

·        Patient Ratios : RN 8:1, SW 10:1

·        Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : two RNs, two techs for 12 or more patients, two SW scheduled five days a week, two days will be only one SW

·        Type of equipment : locked unit

·        Documentation system: Meditech

·        Scheduling requirements: SW scheduled 5 days a week, 8-hours a day

·        Floating policy: BHU staff does not float.

·        Patient Experience requirements: Treatment team, PSA, PHQ9, BHA, two groups daily

·        Certifications: LCSW

 

Must have:

Must have an Idaho license

No procedures held on unit.  May take patients off unit for ECT.
