📋 Schedule & Call Requirements

  • Shift: 10-hour Day Shifts (4 days/week)
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours
  • On-Call: Required (after-hours call)
  • Weekend/Holiday: As needed per department

 

✅ Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma required (Associate’s preferred)
  • Certifications Required:
    • RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) OR
    • RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer)
    • ARDMS or ARRT (S)
    • BLS (AHA)
  • Must obtain registry within 18 months if not currently held
  • Experience: Open to qualified candidates with strong cardiac imaging background

 

🔍 Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) procedures
  • Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and patients for procedures
  • Review patient history and determine appropriate imaging protocols
  • Capture and evaluate images for accuracy, quality, and completeness
  • Assist physicians with diagnostic interpretation by preparing imaging documentation
  • Educate and communicate effectively with patients and care teams
  • Maintain equipment, ensure safety standards, and report issues as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts
