Registered Nurse (RN) – Level II NICU / Mother-Baby

 

Shift

  • Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 36 Hours/Week (3x12s)
  • Every other weekend
  • Every other holiday
  • No call required

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for neonates during high-risk deliveries and in a Level II NICU. This role also requires supporting the Mother/Baby (Postpartum/Couplet Care) and Labor & Delivery units as needed.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of Level II NICU/Special Care Nursery experience
  • Postpartum (PP)/Couplet Care experience required
  • Delivery attendance experience required
  • Acute care hospital experience required
  • Must be comfortable floating to Mother/Baby and Labor & Delivery as needed

Required Licensure & Certifications

  • Active Massachusetts RN License
  • AHA BLS (Healthcare Provider)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates in a Level II NICU/Special Care Nursery
  • Attend high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal stabilization
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based care using the nursing process
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Educate and support patients and families
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Accurately document patient assessments and interventions
  • Mentor and support nursing staff as needed
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and continuing education requirements
