HOT JOB: INTENSIVE CARE UNIT RN – 3x12 ROTATING SHIFTS (EVERETT, MA)

 

I am fast-tracking applications for an experienced, high-acuity Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse. This 13-week contract features a dynamic rotating shift schedule, strong overtime structures, and an streamlined interview pipeline conducted directly through clinical services.

 

POSITION QUICK-FACTS

  • Start Date: 08/11/2026 – 11/07/2026 (13 Weeks)
  • Shift Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | 07:00 AM - 19:00 PM and 19:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly
  • Scheduling Logistics: No block scheduling permitted. Must work an every-other-major-holiday rotation.
  • Systems & Charting: Epic EMR experience is highly preferred.
  • Dress Code: Professional scrubs (any solid color or pattern permitted).

THE CLINICAL MATRIX

  • The Environment: A fast-paced, high-acuity Intensive Care Unit managing critical medical-surgical and cardiac patient profiles.
  • Core Equipment: Daily deployment and mastery of Alaris smart infusion pumps, Cheetah non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring systems, Nihon Kohden telemetry networks, and Blanketrol II hyper-hypothermia temperature management systems.
  • Charge & Scope: Charge nurse capability is highly preferred. You will be expected to occasionally step into leadership or resource roles depending on shift staffing architecture.
  • Mandatory Floating: High flexibility required. You will be mandated to float to support regional Medical-Surgical units (specifically West 1 and West 3 units) when ICU census down-staffing occurs.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)

  • Experience Baseline: Up-to-date, chronological resume mapping out a minimum of 2+ years of dedicated, current ICU experience as an RN. Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Massachusetts (MA) state RN license must be verified via a Nursys report pulled within the past 7 days [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications:
    • Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS are strictly required at the time of profile submission [HARDSTOP].
    • CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification is highly preferred.
  • Vaccination Policies: Seasonal Flu vaccination is mandatory.
  • Geographic Policy: Both local and travel candidates are fully accepted. Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius will be processed under a localized internal billing framework.

  • All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be fully itemized and submitted at the exact moment of initial profile submittal. RTO cannot be negotiated or guaranteed after an official confirmation is extended.
