Job Title: Travel Med-Surg/Telemetry Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Job Description: We are seeking an adaptable and skilled Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join the float pool at CommonSpirit Mercy Hospital in Durango, CO. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse units, including Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, and Trauma.

Key Highlights:

• Unit Profile: Med-Surg/Tele Float Pool with a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (7p–7a).
• Schedule: Leadership manages schedules in 6-week blocks; must be flexible to fill staffing gaps.
• Weekend/Holiday: 6–9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; participation in holiday rotation may be required.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg/Tele experience required; neuro experience is highly preferred.
• Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS.
• Clinical Skills: Must be comfortable with Heparin titration and working in a fast-paced float environment.
• Radius Policy: Position is open to non-local travelers only (residence must be >60 miles from the facility; a copy of your driver's license is required for submission).
