Description
Cath Lab RN – Level I Trauma | Manager Interview Required
Position Highlights
- Interview Required (Profile Review → Manager Interview)
- Level I Trauma experience required (Busy Level II may be considered)
- 50-mile radius rule (No local rates)
- 3×12-hour Day Shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Call Required: 6–10 call shifts per schedule with 30-minute response time
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN License
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- Cath Lab circulating experience
- No scrub experience required for RNs (Techs must scrub)
Required Testing
- Dysrhythmia Exam before contract (2 attempts, 80% passing score)
- Failure = DNU for 6 months (CommonSpirit AZ & Sacramento)
- Pass/Fail Simulation Lab on Day 1
- Foley catheter insertion
- Central line dressing change
- Failure = DNU for 6 months
Cath Lab Details
- Procedure Rooms: 3 Cath Labs, 1 EP Lab, 1 Hybrid OR
- Cases: 10–25 procedures daily
- Patient Population/Procedures:
- Interventional Cardiology
- Electrophysiology (EP)
- Peripheral Vascular
- TAVR
- MitraClip
- IABP
- EMTALA transfers
Equipment & Systems
- EMR: Cerner & Xper
- Telemetry: Philips
- Equipment: Philips & Siemens
Scheduling
- Monday–Friday
- 12-hour day shifts
- Weekend rotation: 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
- Holiday rotation required
Orientation & Facility Information
- 2-day department orientation
- Scrubs provided
- 24/7 Pharmacy and Respiratory Therapy available
- Charge RN support on unit
