2 YEARS NICU LEVEL 4 OR STRONG LEVEL 3 SURGICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Shift: 3x12 variable or straight nights
Years of experience REQ: 2 years NICU level 4
First-timer travelers accepted: (Y/N) : Yes if they have level 4 experience
Pending License accepted: Yes. if we have an ETA from licensing of when it will post
Weekend REQ: Yes, must be available to work weekends with full flexibility to be scheduled when needed (no specific weekend requirement)
National Certs REQ: BLS, Advanced NRP, PALS preferred
Is on-call REQ? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes
Floating Req to Sister Facilities: Yes
Open to accommodating block schedule? No
Locals accepted: No
RTO Restrictions: 6 days RTO max
Guaranteed Hours: Hours are guaranteed after the call off policy has been met
Special Requirements:
• CA License
• Cardiac experience
• 2 years of recent Level 4 experience
• Will consider Level 3 RN if they have STRONG surgical experience from a Level 3 NICU that performs surgeries on newborns and– **MUST MENTION IN SUBMITTAL
• Will consider strong 1st time traveler with level 4 experience
• BLS
• Advanced NRP
• Willing to float between units (PICU & CVICU) and NICU satellite campuses (Rancho Springs, Palomar, Scripps Encinitas, Scripps La Jolla, and Scripps Mercy) *Mileage reimbursed from home base NICU location to any satellite
• Must have own transportation
• Experience in: Oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, Nasal Cannula specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC UVC PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-Tubes. Must be comfortable with line changes that have multiple drips, pre and post op care.
