Description
Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion/Chemo
Location: Tracy, California
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (Monday–Friday) with occasional weekend call
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, hydration, and other infusion therapies.
- Assess, monitor, and educate patients throughout their treatment.
- Safely access and manage central venous access devices (CVADs).
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Adhere to facility policies, oncology nursing standards, and infection control guidelines.
Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- ACLS (AHA) certification.
- PALS (AHA) certification.
- Chemotherapy Certification (required).
- Previous infusion and chemotherapy administration experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
