Travel Cath Lab Technologist – 13-Week Contract

Location: Austin, TX

Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Contract Type: 13-Week Travel Assignment

We're seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Austin, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing cardiovascular team that performs a wide range of advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with complex cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Support a variety of procedures including:
  • Left Heart Catheterizations (LHC)
  • Right Heart Catheterizations (RHC)
  • Peripheral Vascular Interventions
  • Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) procedures
  • Cardiac Biopsies
  • Structural Heart procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies before each case.
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout all procedures.
• Monitor patient status and assist with emergency interventions as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with facility protocols.
• Assist with room turnover, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cardiovascular team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Recent Cath Lab Technologist experience required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• MRT or ARRT certification preferred.
• RCIS certification will also be considered for candidates with strong Cath Lab experience.
• Strong knowledge of invasive cardiovascular procedures and Cath Lab equipment.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
