Unit Notes:Strict 75 mile radius rule
RRT's only- Critical Care experience required
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and 1 travel contract
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. (300+ Beds experience required).
. There will be a hospitalist who will respond to codes, but a respiratory therapist will be the first line when it comes to intubating patients, so I won t be able to take therapists who don t have that experience or are not comfortable with intubating patients. Also, our therapists have to be used to high and heavy workloads
Will interview with our internal RN's and then their profile and the internal notes are sent to Phoebe for approval, NO Second interview will be needed.
Unit: Respiratory
# treatments per day: Therapists do 550 minutes per shift, average of 15 minutes per treatment. Average of 13-15 patients per shift
Certs - RRT, GA state license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, if going to NICU need NRP
EMR: Meditech
Charge RT: Yes, run a Charge and Clinical Coordinator
Weekend Requirement: M-Thurs team and a weekend team; you will work M-Th or F-Sun team--hours will shift, will be noted in job posting which hours needed
Holidays: Rotated in with perm staff; every other holiday can be expected
Call: None
Scrub Color: Ceil blue, can wear ceil blue jacket only
Vents: Servo vents (U and I models)
Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: In house 24/7 (either MDs or NP)
Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
Shifts: 645 am and pm starts; can clock in 638am-646am or 638pm-646pm, otherwise late
