Position Overview
 

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician.  These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics.  The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.
 

Minimum Requirements:

• One year of experience performing CT and X-ray procedures is preferred.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT)
• Subspecialty CT Certified required
• Subspecialty Mammography is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and basic management software is preferred.
• Able to make decisions under pressure
• Able to work independently
