About North End Ranch
North End Ranch is a long-term Level 3 group home serving adults with developmental disabilities. The program provides person-centered, high-quality residential care in a supportive home environment, helping residents maximize their independence, health, safety, and overall quality of life.
Position Overview
As the Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing oversight and coordination of medical services for residents at North End Ranch. Working closely with residential staff and an interdisciplinary treatment team, you will ensure residents receive exceptional medical care while supporting staff through education, medication oversight, and clinical guidance.
Responsibilities
- Complete nursing assessments and ongoing health evaluations.
- Coordinate medical care with physicians, specialists, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers.
- Oversee medication management, medication delegation, and staff education.
- Monitor residents' physical and mental health needs and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Assist with admissions, medical documentation, and electronic medical records (EMR/eMAR).
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention practices and regulatory requirements.
- Provide health education and clinical support to residential staff.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning to promote positive resident outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health, or residential settings is preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
