Description
Experience
- Generalist Medical Laboratory Scientist experience required.
- Blood Bank experience required.
- Ability to work independently after training and competency validation.
- Flexibility to cover day, evening, mid, and night shifts as needed.
- Previous experience in an acute care hospital laboratory preferred.
Required Certifications
- ASCP-MT
EMR
- Epic experience required
Training Schedule
- Initial training will consist of:
- 8-hour shifts
- 5 days per week
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Training is expected to last approximately one month, depending on competency.
Schedule
Following training, the schedule will vary based on department needs and may include:
Night Shift
- 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 7-on/7-off rotation (additional shift may be scheduled to maintain full-time hours)
Evening Shift
- 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Mid Shifts
- 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (based on staffing)
Day Shift
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Call Requirements
- On-call as needed.
Weekend Requirements
- Rotating weekends after successful completion of training.
