Description
Operating Room / Surgical Technologist (Allied) – Rotating Shifts
- Schedule: Variable 10-Hour Shifts | 13 Weeks | 40 Hours Guaranteed (Total schedule flexibility is required to accommodate rotating shift needs).
- On-Call & Weekend Commitments [MANDATORY]: High-responsiblity rotation featuring weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call duties. Must maintain a strict 30-minute call response time.
- Holiday Rotation: Required to work every other major holiday as scheduled.
- The Setting: An active inpatient Operating Room environment utilizing the Epic EMR platform (Epic proficiency is highly preferred).
- Candidate Policy: Both local and travel contractors are accepted.
- Dress Code: Techs may wear professional scrubs of any color or pattern style (scrubs are not facility-provided).
Submission Hardstops
- Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2 years of current acute care Operating Room surgical tech experience is required. Prior travel contracting experience is an absolute hardstop; first-time travelers will not be reviewed.
Technical Specialty Requirements [CRITICAL]:
⚠️ SURGICAL MATRIX HARDSTOP: Candidates must possess verified, independent competency with DaVinci Robotics and Endoscopy (ENDO) workflows.
- Certification Mandate [IN-HAND]: Must hold an active national certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA, NCCT, or AST) at the exact time of profile submission. Active AHA BLS is mandatory.
- Locals accepted at different rate.
