Description

CVOR Surgical Tech 
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours per Week: 40 hrs
Shift Requirements: variable days shifts, 630-1500 Monday – Friday
On Call/Call-Back: 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 back up per week.   30 min response time meaning traveler must be ready and in the OR within that 30 min.  
**Could, on occasion, need additional mandated call**
Weekend/Holiday: weekends as needed, Holiday rotation
Required Certifications: BLS, CST license REQURED NBSTSA or NCCT is accepted
(Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications)
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent 
Minimum Experience: 2+ years of CVOR experience REQUIRED, prior travel experience required 
Charting/Equipment: NA - facility uses epic charting 
Unit Specific Skillset: Efficient in setting up an operative suite for patients, accountable for going through case carts to ensure all supplies are available, efficient in scrubbing surgical cases in a variety of specialties, turning over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day. 3 cardiothoracic surgeons – approximately 50 – 60 cases per month
Required skills: Cardiac/Thoracic; also thoracic robot experience. Looking for a flexible candidate with excellent work ethic that is also willing to do downtime tasks, if needed. Needs to be motivated during downtime; pulling case carts, cleaning, ect
Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates.
