Interim Radiology Manager (ARRT Required)

Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day Shift

Pay: $44.00-$67.00 per hour

Lead the Radiology Department for a community-focused acute care hospital in Saint Peter, Minnesota. This position combines departmental leadership with clinical expertise, overseeing operations, staffing, budgeting, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance while supporting high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Radiology Department.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop radiology staff.
• Create department schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor department performance.
• Develop department goals, policies, and staff education plans.
• Prepare annual budgets and monitor monthly financial performance.
• Analyze imaging data and departmental metrics to improve operations.
• Partner with physicians, nursing leadership, and executive leadership to improve patient care.
• Ensure compliance with Minnesota Department of Health, NIAHO, ISO 9001, and hospital standards.
• Address patient concerns and promote an exceptional patient experience.
• Present department updates to leadership, medical staff, and board committees.
• Maintain clinical competency by performing imaging procedures as needed, including portable X-ray and C-arm imaging in the operating room.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• ARRT certification in CT or Mammography preferred.
• 5-7 years of Radiology experience.
• 2-3 years of Radiology leadership or supervisory experience.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Experience with budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and department operations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
