Direct Hire | Full-Time | Night Shift

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour + Shift Differential

Join the Imaging team at Riverwood Healthcare Center, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in Aitkin, Minnesota. This full-time night shift position offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of imaging modalities while providing diagnostic services for emergency, inpatient, outpatient, orthopedic, and surgical patients. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available with a two-year commitment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Produce diagnostic images using appropriate positioning and exposure techniques.
• Assist with general X-ray, orthopedic imaging, surgical C-arm procedures, and CT services as needed.
• Schedule patients according to department protocols.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures.
• Maintain imaging equipment and exam rooms.
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Transport and position patients safely using proper lifting techniques.
• Participate in department meetings and required education.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Associate degree or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• CT experience preferred.
• Canon/Toshiba CT experience preferred.
• Experience with C-arm imaging in the operating room preferred.
• General X-ray experience preferred.
• Mammography registry or registry-eligible if performing mammography duties.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
