Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Rehab

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week contract in Kennebunk, Maine. This outpatient rehab opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a collaborative therapy team helping patients improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall functional independence.

This is a great fit for a PTA who enjoys hands-on patient care, working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, and helping patients progress toward their rehab goals in a supportive outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and functional mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and proper body mechanics.
• Complete timely documentation and progress notes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team to support patient outcomes.
