Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Douglas, Georgia
Shift: Night
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work primarily in Labor and Delivery with a patient load including 6 LDRP rooms, 2 triage rooms, 5 postpartum/well-baby rooms, and 2 NICU beds in the nursery.
- Approximately 80-90 births per month.
- Every other weekend schedule.
- May need to float to Mother Baby unit.
- Charting system used: Centricity; medication charting with Paragon.
- Staffing ratios follow AWHONN standards.
- Candidates should be able to take charge.
- No floating to other units or charge nurse responsibilities required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Labor and Delivery is required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
- Familiarity with Centricity electronic health record system.
