Description
Job Title: Travel Pharmacist
Location: California
Schedule:
- 8-hour day shifts
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weekdays and weekends
Compensation:
- Base Pay: $42/hour
- Meal & Lodging Stipend: $1,059/week
- Weekly Gross: Up to $2,907.00/week( on successful completion of scheduled hours)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our healthcare team on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will accurately dispense medications, review prescriptions for safety and appropriateness, provide patient counseling, collaborate with healthcare providers, and ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Verify and dispense medications accurately.
- Review prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medication records using EPIC EMR.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Active State Pharmacist License required.
- Experience in a clinical or hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
