Contract Length: 17 Weeks with possible extension

Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Albany, Georgia. This opportunity is ideal for OR nurses with broad surgical experience who thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment and are comfortable taking call as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for surgical patients.
- Assist with a variety of general and specialty surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate documentation using MEDITECH.
- Follow all hospital policies and patient safety standards.
- Participate in rotating weekend and on-call coverage as scheduled.
- Ensure proper preparation, monitoring, and recovery support for surgical patients.
Requirements
- Active RN License (required at submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
- AHA - BLS, ACLS
- Previous acute care hospital experience
- Experience with MEDITECH preferred
- Ability to work in multiple surgical specialties
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
- Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility
