Pay Breakdown:

• Weekly Gross: $2,507
• W2:  $29/hr.
• Stipend:  $1,463 Weekly

Requirements

• NY State RN license - Required
• Must Have EPIC EMR Experience.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience - Required
• Current BLS AHA certification- Required
  
   

Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse  for a 13-week assignment with a leading healthcare facility. The Med Surg RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions requiring both medical-surgical nursing care and continuous cardiac monitoring. This role involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, interpreting telemetry rhythms, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and responding promptly to changes in patient condition. 

Duties

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms, promptly identifying and reporting abnormalities.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including monitoring vital signs and recognizing changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Care for patients with a variety of medical, surgical, cardiac, respiratory, and post-operative conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Operate and troubleshoot telemetry monitors, infusion pumps, and other clinical equipment.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
