Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) - Night Shift

Job Description: Join the highly collaborative cardiopulmonary team at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy in Omaha, NE! We are urgently seeking a skilled and adaptable Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel contract. This is a dynamic inpatient role where you will cover all floors and treat a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics.

Contract Details:

• Target Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Scheduling: Every other weekend required; holidays rotate with permanent staff.
• Time Off: A maximum of 7 days of RTO is permitted and must be declared upfront.

Requirements:

• Experience: Recent Level 1 or Level 2 hospital experience is required. Must be proficient in EKGs, bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry across all age groups.
• Certifications: Active RRT or CRT credential, plus BLS and ACLS. (NRP and PALS preferred).
• Radius & Eligibility Policy: Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (driver's license required for verification). You cannot be currently employed (FT, PT, or PRN) with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility.
• Appearance Policy: Artificial nails are strictly prohibited in patient care areas per facility policy.

Unit Highlights:

• Support System: You will never be the only RT in the building. The hospital features 24/7 in-house Intensivists and a Lead RT on every shift.
• Equipment: Drager, Servo I, Carefusion, BiPAP Vision/V60/V30, Respironics S/T, and Airvo2.
