Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech Maternal Fetal

• 13 weeks (includes 2-4 weeks of unit orientation)

Work Schedule

• Shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (Monday-Friday)
• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekends, holidays, or call required
• Day off during the week may vary based on staffing needs
• No floating requirements

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Recent Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
• Ob/Gyn Sonographer experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NT (Nuchal Translucency) certification
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification
• Active state license valid in Washington (compact license accepted)

Required Documentation and Background Checks

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Social Security Card (as applicable)
• Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start, updated monthly
• Education verification (degree/diploma/transcript as applicable)
• WA State Patrol Search within 90 days of start (required by state law)
• References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
• Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment with explanations for gaps or overlaps

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Fit mask test (respirator clearance) required for travel candidates, updated annually
• Immunizations/vaccinations or documented declinations required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season
  • COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (instant tests acceptable)

Competency and Training Requirements

• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (AWHONN or NCC-EFM) or Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring Assessment exam in Relias
• Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
• Epic training modules completion required within a week of orientation

• Locals within 50 miles of Seattle are not eligible for this travel position
• Manager interviews all auto-offer candidates
• Compact license holders active in Washington are accepted
• No badge photo required for this specific facility
• Floating policy acknowledgment required; may be asked to float to nearby facilities within the region
