Job Description

Join a respected teaching hospital in Virginia as a Travel Intermediate Care (IMU/IMCU) Registered Nurse. This day shift opportunity is perfect for experienced nurses with strong telemetry, cardiac, neuro, and medical-surgical skills who are ready to take on charge responsibilities and provide exceptional patient care.

Assignment Highlights

13-week travel contract
12-hour Day Shifts
36 or 48 hours/week available
Orientation every other Monday (Start dates: 8/10 & 8/24)
Charge Nurse responsibilities required with additional differential pay and training
Weekend-only requests may be considered (block scheduling not available)

Telemetry
Cardiac IMCU
Neurology
Stroke (CVA)

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent IMU/Stepdown experience
Prior travel experience required
Active Virginia or Compact RN License by start date
Cerner experience preferred
Charge Nurse experience preferred
Complete work history with explanations for employment gaps over 90 days
Skills checklist, Nursys verification, and license copy required
All requested time off must be submitted with the application
