• Saturday Only
• 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 8 Hours per Week 

Work Setting:

Retail Pharmacy / Community Healthcare Clinic

Position Summary:
 

As an Immunizing Nurse, you will administer a wide range of vaccines in a retail pharmacy setting while delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care. You will educate patients, maintain accurate documentation, and support CVS Health's mission of improving community health.

PPE and all required clinical supplies are provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer vaccines including:
  • Influenza (Flu)
  • COVID-19  
  • MMR  
  • Hepatitis A & B
  • Tdap  
  • Shingles  
  • RSV  
  • Pneumococcal  
  • Other CDC-recommended immunizations
• Assess patients prior to vaccination.
• Administer medications following established clinical protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions after immunization.
• Educate patients on vaccine benefits, risks, and post-vaccination care.
• Accurately document vaccinations in electronic medical records.
• Follow infection prevention and PPE protocols.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Adapt to workflow changes while maintaining high-quality patient care. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization and direct patient care.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable administering multiple vaccines throughout the shift.
• Ability to work independently in a patient-facing retail healthcare setting.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.

Candidate Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Minimum one year of nursing experience
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
• No prior CVS/Aetna employment
• Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List
