Description

Job Title: Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech - 4x10 Days

Job Description: Join the fast-paced imaging team at Iowa Methodist Medical Center (a Level I Trauma Center) in Des Moines, IA! We are actively seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for an immediate travel assignment. In this role, you will scrub, circulate, and monitor for a busy unit performing roughly 25 vascular procedures a day.

Contract Details:

Target Start Date: 08/10/2026
Shift: Day Shift, 4x10s (Monday – Friday with one random day off during the week).
Scheduling: Block scheduling is not guaranteed. Must be willing to work 1-2 major summer holidays if the unit remains open.
Call Requirements: Shared call team covering two local facilities.

Requirements:

Clinical Skills: Must be fully competent to scrub, circulate, and monitor in an IR setting.
Systems: Previous experience with EPIC charting is highly preferred.
Radius & Eligibility Policy: The full travel rate requires candidates to live outside a 50-mile radius (a local rate is available for those closer). Former permanent or PRN staff of UPH must have a 12-month separation before applying.
