Overview

Care for patients across all acuity levels, including ESI 1-5
Manage a typical 4-5:1 patient ratio
Provide care for stroke, STEMI, trauma, and sepsis patients
Perform emergency department clinical skills, including triage, PIV, port access/deaccess, Foley placement, NG/OG placement, wound care, and splint/OCL application
Assist with arterial lines, central lines, and chest tube placement
Support patient transport and respond to call lights
Be willing to float to other departments when not needed in the ED
Be willing to help precept in the future
