Description
Registered Nurse – Pediatric Transport
Location: Tampa, FL
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (3x12s) | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong NICU and pediatric experience to provide specialized care during neonatal and pediatric transports. The RN will assess, stabilize, monitor, and safely transport critically ill neonates and pediatric patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2,000 hours of NICU experience
- Pediatric nursing experience
- BLS Certification
- NRP Certification
- PALS Certification
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide care during neonatal and pediatric transports
- Perform patient assessment, stabilization, and continuous monitoring
- Administer emergency medications and perform pediatric dosage calculations
- Assist with and manage intubations
- Manage HFNC, chest tubes, central lines, IV therapy, and TPN/Lipids
- Interpret ABGs and monitor telemetry
- Utilize the Broselow system during pediatric emergencies
- Follow hypothermia protocols and infection control practices
- Manage NG tubes, urinary catheters, and other critical care interventions

- Weekly Gross Pay: $2,334
