JA3 The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological &amp; obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast &amp; scrotum) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations. Facility Requirements:<ul><li>Must have ARDMS or RDCS certification, this must be attached to the submission</li><li>Preferred if the candidate also has Echo tech experience; the facility is also willing to train</li><li>Must have BLS certification must be attached to submission packet (Must be through the American Heart Association)</li><li>Shifts will be Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, Must be willing to take call</li></ul>
