RN – Operating Room (OR) | Travel Contract (On-Site)

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced OR Circulating RN for an urgent traveler replacement assignment. This is a fast-start need to support a smooth transition and maintain OR coverage.

Contract Details

• Assignment type: Travel/contract
• Target start date: 08/16/2026 (ASAP preferred)
• Contract end date: 11/13/2026
• Openings: 1
• Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with a rotating day off
• Schedule: 4 x 9-hour shifts/week
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week
• Weekend schedule: No scheduled weekends (see call requirements)

Call Requirements (Required)

• Weeknight call: 1 night/week (4:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend call: 1 weekend (48 hours) every 5–6 weeks (based on staffing)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide OR circulating support across multiple service lines
• Maintain patient safety, sterile workflow support, and surgical documentation
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team for efficient case flow
• Assist with room turnovers and general teamwork needs as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years recent OR circulating experience
• Experience in a smaller community setting or strong multi-service-line background
• Preferred service lines exposure: Ortho, Urology, OB/GYN, General, ENT
• Ability to adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively

Certifications

• BLS (required)
• ACLS (required due to call expectations)

• Floating: If low census, may occasionally assist with 1:1 support on other units (not routine)
