Description
Schedule Notes: Stroke experience and NIHSS are both preferred . Will need to precept and possibly work in the virtual room. This is a Stroke and Neuro floor. They also have ortho and spine patients.We are a comprehensive stroke center. Ratios 3:1 SD patients and 5:1 all other patients. Skills: Required Skills & Experience:-1 year of experience.-Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures.-Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.-Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees.-Good verbal and written communication skills.-Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.-Some computer skills.Preferred Skills & Experience:-N/A nullEducation: Required Education:-Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.Preferred Education: -Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred.Required Certifications & Licensure: -Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).-Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -N/A nullJob Category: Registered Nurses Direct Care (SC1016) Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks:90
