Description
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care / ICU
Specialty: Critical Care RN
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Duration:13 Weeks
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
- Manage patients requiring advanced monitoring and critical interventions.
- Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and care planning.
- Monitor and manage ventilated patients, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation using facility EMR systems.
- Float to PCU as needed based on staffing requirements.
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection prevention practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care experience required
- Must have experience with:
- Ventilators
- ICP Monitoring
- Hemodynamic Monitoring
- Must be willing to float to PCU as needed
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Must have own vehicle (required)
- Perm address must be uploaded with profile
- All requested time off must be provided at the time of submission (maximum 5 days accepted)
Required Certifications
- BLS – AHA
- ACLS – AHA
- NIHSS
