Job Title: Med Surg RN – Travel Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The ideal candidate should have strong assessment skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Perform patient education and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to nursing standards.
• Follow patient safety protocols, infection control practices, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Support a positive patient experience through compassionate and professional care.

Requirements:

• Active RN License – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg RN experience
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
