Job Overview

Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for an imaging professional who is committed to providing high-quality diagnostic CT imaging while delivering compassionate patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to imaging procedures.
• Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring optimal image quality.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Administer contrast media in accordance with facility policies and scope of practice, when applicable.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance, infection prevention, and quality assurance procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience (Required).
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, anatomy, and radiation safety.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent patient care.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active ARRT (CT) certification (if required by state/facility).
• Active Florida State License (if applicable).
• BLS (American Heart Association).

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Potential for extension)
• Shift: Nights (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• On-Call: Required
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: As required by the department
• Assignment Type: Long-Term Travel Assignment
