Description

Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or RAD)

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
May assist with on-call coverage for peripheral cases at the Heart Center as needed.

Location Requirement

Candidate must reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Required Credentials

RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RAD (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
BLS certification
ACLS certification

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) experience
Experience scrubbing and monitoring:
- Diagnostic coronary procedures
- Interventional coronary procedures
- Peripheral vascular procedures
Must be able to scrub and pan for peripheral and diagnostic studies.
Experience in additional specialties is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support patients undergoing:
- Invasive diagnostic cardiac procedures
- Vascular testing
- Interventional procedures
Perform:
- Scrub duties
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Operation of catheterization and radiology imaging equipment
Work effectively in a multidisciplinary Cath Lab environment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (AA, BA, BS, or BSN) or equivalent years of relevant experience.
