Description

Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS/RAD)

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts
Call: One weekday per week and one weekend per month (Friday 3:30 PM through Monday 6:30 AM)

Location Requirement

Must live within 50 miles of the facility.

Required Credentials

RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RAD (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
BLS certification
ACLS certification

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) experience
Experience scrubbing and monitoring:
- Diagnostic coronary procedures
- Interventional coronary procedures
- Peripheral vascular procedures
Must be able to scrub and pan for peripheral and diagnostic studies.
Experience in additional specialties is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular procedures.
Support interventional coronary, peripheral vascular, and structural heart procedures.
Perform scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties.
Operate catheterization and radiology imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Cath Lab team.

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (AA, BA, BS, or BSN) or equivalent relevant experience.
