Travel Senior Behavioral Health Unit RN Start: 3-4 Weeks of offer accepted Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 6:45p - 7:15a1+ year experience requiredBLS required De-escalation (SAMA or CPI) required Previous experience in gero psych unit requiredRecent (within last year) Senior Behavioral Health in ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL setting experience required<ul><li>Blocked scheduling may be requested</li><li>Scrub color: Any solid color</li><li>Beds in Unit: 19</li><li>Patient ratio: 1:8-10</li><li>No call required</li><li>No floating required </li><li>EMR = MedHost</li><li>Any CPI would work. We can also train with SAMA during the day one orientation. Must list in body in submittal that candidate is willing to obtain! Scope of role: Provides behavioral health evaluation of assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.  Provides assistance to nursing peers as requested.  Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.  Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.  Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.  Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the nursing field.</li></ul>
