🚑 Unit Details – Emergency Department

• Unit: Emergency Department 1
• Patient Population: Neonatal to Geriatric
• Setting:High-acuity, fast-paced ER
• EMR:EPIC (REQUIRED – recent experience) 

⚠️ MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• ✔Active California RN License
• ✔BLS (AHA)
• ✔ACLS (AHA)
• ✔PALS (Required at time of hire)
• ✔Recent ER experience
• ✔EPIC experience (REQUIRED) 

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC (within 1 year if not active)
• CEN Certification
• Experience with trauma, cardiac, and critical care patients 

💉 Key Responsibilities

• Rapid triage and patient assessment in emergency situations
• Manage trauma, cardiac, neuro & critical cases
• Administer IV therapy, medications & emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians & interdisciplinary teams
• Provide patient education & discharge planning
• Maintain accurate EPIC documentation 

🛠️ Skills Needed

• Critical thinking under pressure
• Emergency response & trauma care expertise
• Cardiac monitoring & dysrhythmia interpretation
• IV sedation competency (within 6 months if required) 

⏰ Schedule Details

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 or 48 hours/week available
• 12-hour shifts
