Description
ER/Med-Surg RN – Travel Contract (Rotating Days/Nights)
- Shift: Rotating 12-hour Days/Nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Active RN License (required at submission)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- 6 months ER and 6 months Med-Surg experience within the past year
- BLS, ACLS (required before start)
- NRP (required; may be completed onsite with approval)
- TNCC preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care in both Emergency Department and Med-Surg
- Must be able to work independently in the ER and manage up to 5 Med-Surg patients
- Float between ER and Med-Surg as needed
Additional Details:
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- 3 call shifts required during the 13-week contract
- EPIC charting | Pyxis medication system
- Navy scrubs (no logos) required
- 1 day ER orientation + 1 day Med-Surg orientation
