Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (Critical Need)
Facility: Kaiser Oakland Hospital (Kaiser Permanente)
Location: Oakland, California
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Potential for extension)
Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Shift: Day Shift – 10 Hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Schedule: 40 Hours Guaranteed per Week (May include weekends)
Position Overview
Kaiser Oakland Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for an immediate-start travel assignment. This is a high-priority opportunity for candidates with strong Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) experience. The technologist will assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and procedural safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Support physicians during Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology procedures.
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile supplies.
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure radiation safety standards are followed.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to Kaiser protocols.
- Participate in weekend rotations as required.
Schedule
- 10-Hour Day Shifts
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week
- Weekend shifts may be required.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology experience
- ARRT Certification
- California Radiologic Technologist License
- California Fluoroscopy Permit (Fluoro Certification)
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- Strong experience assisting with invasive cardiac procedures.
- Available for immediate start.
