Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel/Contract)
Location
- Belleville, Illinois
Position Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 5-6 patients
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, Magnet recognized
- Unit Beds: 40 staffed beds on unit; 222 beds in facility
- Charting System: EPIC
- Parking: Free
Job Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Illinois (no temporary licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with high-risk cardiology patients and cardiology nursing
- Ability to manage cardiac drips and central lines
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
