Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a community-based immunization program. In this role, you will administer a variety of vaccines, including Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended immunizations, while delivering exceptional patient care in a retail healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive healthcare, possesses strong clinical skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Administer vaccines including Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other immunizations according to established clinical protocols.
• Assess patients prior to vaccination and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients regarding vaccine benefits, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all immunizations.
• Follow infection prevention and safety guidelines, utilizing provided PPE.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
• Adapt to changing patient volumes and scheduling needs.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization administration.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong medication administration and clinical assessment skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• High School Diploma or GED (verification required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail clinic, community health, occupational health, or vaccination clinic experience.
• Experience administering multiple vaccine types.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
