Description
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures.
- Prepare procedure rooms, sterile fields, and imaging equipment.
- Operate fluoroscopic imaging systems while maintaining radiation safety standards.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the procedural team.
- Float between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology departments as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab, Vascular, or Interventional Radiology experience
- Active state license (if required)
- Current specialty-specific certifications required by the facility
- Current BLS certification (additional certifications as required by the position)
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, procedural equipment, and patient monitoring
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
