Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel) | Pittsfield, MA | Nights | 13 Weeks

This travel assignment is for an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse seeking a high‑paying night‑shift contract in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Compensation

• Weekly Gross Pay: $3317.87/week
• Taxable + Non‑Taxable Structure:
  • $47 per hour taxed
  • $1023.87 p/w housing
  • $602.00 p/w meals

Required Certifications

Candidates must have the following active certifications at the time of submission:

• ACLS – American Heart Association
• BLS – American Heart Association
• NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• AWHONN FHM – Fetal Heart Monitoring

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience
• Strong competency in labor management, fetal monitoring, triage, and postpartum care
• Ability to respond to obstetric emergencies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients
• Perform and interpret fetal monitoring
• Assist with deliveries (vaginal and C‑section)
• Support patients and families through labor, birth, and postpartum transition
• Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, NICU, and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards
• Respond to emergent situations including PPH, preeclampsia, and neonatal distress

Schedule & Shift Details

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 shifts per week
• 36 hours guaranteed(48s available!)
• Rotating weekends and holidays may be required
• Floating may occur within maternal‑child units if needed

Compliance Requirements

Candidates must be fully compliant prior to start, including:

• Active RN license
• Required certifications listed above
• Standard onboarding documents
• Immunizations and health screenings per facility policy
