Facility Name: Wilson Medical Center

Floor: 2nd floor
• Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN
• Specialty: L/D, OB/GYN with simple med/surge overflow
• Number of Openings: 2 L/D, 1 OB/PP/ Med/Surge
• Shift: LD 7p-7a x 2 (nights), OB 7a-7p (days)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: rotating every other weekend
• Call Requirements: minimal
• Required Certifications: BLS, L/D- fetal monitoring class within 2 years, NRP, ACLS
• Years of Experience: 2 years
• Float Requirements: L/D- only to sit or task for low census, PP- rotates for low census

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 6 + 1 triage/RR in L/D, OR on the unit. We circulate our C/S; PP- 12 beds
• Patient Ratios: LD per AWHONN standards, PP 6:1 max, usu 3-4:1
• Equipment: GE Centricity/ Meditech
• EHR:

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: OB/ 2E- PP/ GYN, Med/Surge overflow (hips, knees)

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: L/D experience x 2 years for L/D RNs, active RN license
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Circulate in OR for L/D
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: see above
• Personality Fit: team player

• Required Education: RN prepared
